How endpoint tooling works

These three endpoint capabilities run server-side in the inference proxy. Any compatible client that calls your endpoint benefits from them when the selected workload requires them.

Smart endpoint

Web search

Your endpoint can search the web server-side when the workload allows it. Every caller gets the same behaviour without needing custom tool-loop code.

Web reader

Your endpoint can fetch and read a specific URL server-side. Clients keep sending normal chat requests while CaseDesk handles the retrieval path behind the proxy.

Model routing

Best model per query

One URL. The endpoint can classify each incoming request and pick the best specialist model within your workload envelope. The caller still sees a normal completion response.

Common questions

Any OpenAI-compatible client. Point your API base URL to your CaseDesk endpoint and set your API key. Works with curl, Python openai library, LangChain, Open WebUI, n8n, Zapier, Make, or any app you build yourself. Web search, web reader, and model routing run server-side when the deployment workload allows them.
Your organisation pays the cloud, GPU, or approved model provider directly. CaseDesk charges for the connected control plane, policy, observability, and compatible API layer.
Your endpoint runs in the provider account and region you select. CaseDesk does not log prompt or completion content for billing. Optional web tools may contact external websites or search providers when enabled.
Your provider charges follow the capacity and scaling policy in your own account. CaseDesk charges $49 per month for the first active production connection and $10 for each additional active connection; you can pause a connection when you no longer need it. Your CaseDesk billing currency is set when your first credit payment succeeds.
Connected production includes a compatible API gateway, connection health checks, policy controls, and observability. A 14-day connected trial is free from CaseDesk; your provider remains your direct payer from the start.
Private Model Customisation is a reviewed fine-tuning engagement for Connected Production and Enterprise customers. Training runs only in infrastructure your organisation controls, and your organisation pays its compute provider directly. CaseDesk scopes the supported model, data-handling controls, operational guardrails, and support before work begins.
Enterprise is a private agreement for support, governance, SLA, SSO, invoicing, and commercial terms. Your infrastructure bill remains separate.
